37 People Saved in July

This past month we had the privilege of seeing 37 people receive Christ as their Lord and Savior. Even amid numerous cancellations for COVID-19, we were able to lead a revival, several outreaches, a couple of camps and some door-to-door evangelism. Beyond these decisions, we've also received the following notes about people accepting Christ after we left:

"Santos prayed to receive Christ this afternoon! Praise the Lord!"

On the same day we received this note:

"Our daughter was so thrilled to have you as her camp pastor again last week...We laughed so hard when she told my husband last year, who is a pastor, that she was sorry but you were her new favorite! ...She bought a paracord salvation bracelet last week from your son. She loved it! She had the opportunity to lead one of the little girls in our neighborhood to Christ today and in so doing, gave her salvation bracelet away to the little girl. We are so proud of her and so grateful for your impact on her life."

We give God thanks and praise for the way He touches lives. We are sending this young lady two more "salvation" bracelets--One for her and one to give to the next person with whom she shares Christ. These paracord bracelets are an easy way for kids to share the Gospel.

Please pray for these young people and for the hundreds of others with whom we shared the Gospel this past month.

Even in the middle of closings, cancellations and pandemic fear, God is faithful and is moving in the hearts and lives of people everywhere. Please join us in praying for renewal in the church and revival in the land.

150,000+ Miles

Our van just topped 150,000 miles which means that it's time for us to begin raising funds for a new ministry vehicle.

When God led the people in the wilderness, they travelled for 40 years and at the end of that time the Lord told them, "For forty years I led you through the wilderness, yet your clothes and sandals did not wear out" (Deuteronomy 29:5).

God has always had an amazing way of providing for his people while they travel. In the picture you'll see a cargo container on our van. We call it the "turtle" and during our RV tours, it stayed on our van for over 18 months straight. The day I took it off (not only did it make it hard to find our van in parking lots) but I realized that it looked brand new and the Lord reminded me of this verse. God is good and is His provisions are perfect.

If you would like to contribute to our next vehicle, please use the giving link at the bottom to make a tax-deductible contribution.

Going Door-to-Door

For years there has been a "thought" floating through a lot of our churches that says, "Door-to-Door evangelism doesn't work anymore." But it's just not true. People still get saved on their doorstep.

It's true that times have changed and sometimes the tools we use change too but the fact that God still sets up "divine appointments" is as real today as ever. When you ask how you can pray for someone and they are in need, tears still come to their eyes. People are searching. Some are lonely. Many are hurting. And it is our privilege today just as it was in days past to take the Gospel to them--Not to stay within the walls of our churches and shine the light of Christ in each others eyes but to take the light into the darkness. After all, salt doesn't do any good until it leaves the saltshaker.

But I didn't know how people would respond to door-to-door outreaches during COVID-19. And to my surprise this past month I discovered that people are amazingly receptive to having someone drop by their house to check on them, offer prayer and even to invite them to family outreach events. In my entire life I have never seen people more receptive than right now.

I told an unchurched father that "since movie theaters are closed and there aren't a lot of things for families to do right now, the church has planned a family fun event with ventriloquism, illusions and fun for all ages." His response: "I think my family needs that."

I'm sharing this with you because we see both churches and individuals that are letting ministry opportunities slip by either because they don't know what is acceptable in times like these or because they are afraid of how people will respond. In my opinion, now is the best time to go down your own street to pray for people, share your testimony and invite people to special worship services. It's also a great time for churches to encourage their members to take some time to check on their neighbors and to minister to the people living just around the corner.

Equipping Believers

In June we launched a new discipleship website at ThreeThirtyMinistries.com.

It already hosts over a year of children's curriculum, a year of youth curriculum, over 70 family devotions, Bible study tools, evangelism training, and other Christian resources.

We already have 65 individuals and ministries that are using the website and we recently heard from people in Nicaragua and Scotland who are using our resources. Part of the fun is that we now have a great resource that we can freely give to help churches and ministries that are in need.

Our goal is to take a financial burden off of churches in providing quality, affordable resources. And if they can't afford anything, we'll give it to them which we have already done several times.

This website will also allow us to expand our ministry by the simple fact that we can physically only minister in one place at one time but through resources and videos, we can minister around the world without even leaving our living room.

Beyond providing resources for churches, we are also providing resources to help individuals in their own walk with Christ, parents as they take spiritual leadership in their families and we have a host of other resources that are still to come.

When you can, take a look at our new website at ThreeThirtyMinistries.com.

Share it with your church leaders and let us know if you have any thoughts or suggestions. We've already had some great feedback.
