Ezri’s encounter with Chancellor Drelthor cuts deep—accused of leading her army into ruin, branded a fool or traitor, and left to face the bitter truth alone. Trust shattered, hope flickering, and the weight of failure pressing down, she musters the courage to push forward.
In life, there are times when people will doubt us, accuse us unfairly, or even betray us. It can feel like everything we believed in is crumbling. But like Ezri, God calls us to stand strong, to keep seeking the truth, and to press on even when the path is steep and uncertain.
The Bible tells us that even when others turn away or accuse us, God is our firm foundation (Psalm 18:2). He sees beyond the lies and failures and gives us the strength to rise again and lead with courage.
Ezri’s choice to keep moving toward the battlefield despite her heartbreak is a powerful example: we may face rejection or blame, but God’s purpose for us remains. Our calling isn’t defined by the words of others but by the One who walks beside us.
Key Verse
“The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge.”

Prayer
Dear God,
Thank You that You are my rock and refuge when I feel blamed, hurt, or alone. Help me to stand strong, trusting You even when others don’t understand or believe me. Give me courage to keep moving forward, to seek Your truth, and to remember that You are always with me, guiding me through the hardest battles.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
