Ezri faces a crushing moment: their forces are battered, hope feels scarce, and the enemy closes in with terrifying strength. Yet, amidst the fear and looming disaster, something powerful emerges—a call to stand united.
When the night seems darkest and the battle overwhelming, we often feel alone, powerless, or ready to give up. But Ezri’s story reminds us that standing together, trusting those who support us, and drawing strength from unity can be the difference between defeat and resilience.
God calls His people to be one body, supporting and encouraging each other, especially in trials (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10). Even when the future looks grim, the courage we find in community can sustain us through the fiercest battles.
Ezri’s mentor Jeren reminds her—and us—that mistakes do not define our worth. Love and encouragement can restore hope and fuel perseverance. Together, with clear minds and hearts united, the fight takes on new meaning: not just survival, but protecting those who cannot protect themselves.
Key Verse
“Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their labor.
For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls,
for he has no one to help him up.”
— Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 (WEB)

Prayer
Dear God,
Thank You that we are never truly alone, because You have placed others around us to help, encourage, and stand with us. Help me to remember that even when the fight is hard and hope feels far away, I can trust You and lean on those You’ve given me. Teach me to be strong and united like Ezri and her friends, standing together with clear minds and brave hearts.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
