The battlefield is filled with relentless shadows, enemies that try to overwhelm Ezri and her allies. Even when it seems like the darkness will win, Ezri refuses to give up. She stands firm and fights with all her strength, shining her light into the blackness. Though the enemy is fierce, Ezri’s courage and determination remind us that we don’t fight alone.
In life, we often face dark and difficult battles—times when fear, temptation, or discouragement press in on us. Like Ezri, God calls us to stand firm in faith, to resist the enemy, and to shine His light, even when things seem hopeless. We don’t fight by our own power, but with God’s help, we can push back the darkness and remain strong.
The Bible tells us to be watchful and steady because our enemy is real and dangerous, but God promises victory to those who stand firm in faith.
Key Verse
“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith…”
— 1 Peter 5:8-9 (WEB)
