Chapter 23 – Hope and Purpose After Loss

Ezri sits quietly, surrounded by the reminders of loss—wands once held by her friends who have fallen. Her heart aches, yet she refuses to let grief be the final chapter. Instead, she chooses to stand firm in hope, embracing her identity and calling as the last wand-bearer.

This story reminds us of the power of perseverance and hope in the midst of sorrow. When trials come, God calls His people not to despair but to trust Him and move forward in faith. We are called to carry the light of Christ and to live with purpose for God’s glory. Even when our path is uncertain, God’s promises remain sure: He will never leave us nor forsake us.

Our identity is not defined by what we lose, but by who we belong to—Jesus Christ, the Light of the world. And in Him, every ending is the start of new life and hope.

Key Verse
“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you.”
— Isaiah 60:1 (WEB)
