Show everyone a colored scarf. Explain that the black represents sin, the red that Jesus died to save us and the yellow represents an eternal life in Heaven. But Jesus didn’t just die so that we can go to Heaven but that we can know Him and grow (green) with Him and trust (blue) Him every day.
Explain that God has incredible plans for everyone’s lives but if they haven’t accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior…with the flick of your wrist the entire scarf turns black they are only left with their sin and are missing the life that Jesus came to give them.
