Deluxe Dice Box

Place a big dice in beautiful green and gold box with 4 doors – 2 on front, 2 on top. Tell everyone that the dice has “vanished” and ask which door they want you to open. Before you open the door, tilt the box so that everyone will hear the dice sliding and think that you’re just hiding the dice in the box behind the other door. Keeps tilting the box back and forth, opening one door at a time. By this time the audience will be saying (and sometimes yelling) for you to open all the doors. Finally open all doors to show the dice is gone!

This is a great way to illustrate the there is a bigger picture going on than what they knew. The same is true in life–There is a bigger picture than just living here and now for the things of this world. But people will get tricked and deceived when they buy into the lies of the world. Life is more than breathing and existing. There is real purpose and meaning that is only found in Jesus Christ.

Later you can reveal the dice from a bag or box, from under someone’s chair or from some other place in the room. Pass it around and let people examine it.

Other talking points can include not being deceived, looking beyond the situation, that there is more to life than what you see, etc.
